What is Agentic GRC?

AI agent governance, risk & compliance

Agentic GRC is governance, risk, and compliance for autonomous AI agents — and the use of AI to run GRC itself. Trinitite’s Bitwise Framework defines it as 78 controls across 11 domains: a Continuous Attestation Standard for Autonomous Ecosystems, with signed, reproducible evidence behind each control.

Traditional GRC assumes a human operator and a periodic audit. Autonomous agents act continuously, chain actions across services, and delegate to sub-agents — so the controls and the evidence have to be continuous too.

The Bitwise Framework maps the agentic lifecycle — identity, access, tool use, oversight, and attestation — to 78 testable controls, each producing signed evidence rather than a self-reported checkbox.
